One of the strategic plans of the executive chairman of Ibeno local government is to make sure that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has a more comfortable place to stay in Ibeno.

This is in response to the call by the INEC commissioner during his tour around the local government areas in the state, the commissioner promised to work with the leadership of the local government to make sure a new INEC office is built in Ibeno.

One of the INEC staffs, Mr Samuel, told during the site seeing exercise by The Executive Chairman, Pst. Rt. Hon. Ifum Udoh, The Vice Chairman, Hon. Sunday Isokobo and The Secretary of the council, Mr Godwin Enyina.

While the chairman and his vice tried propose a site for the building project, the secretary opined that the works department of the council will be properly briefed on the development and to ascertain the size of the plot to given.

He urged other government agencies to join in the development of Ibeno local government.
