Ulok Ulok On Radio ( First ever Ibeno dialect radio show)

Ulok Ulok On Radio is the first ever Ibeno indigenous language radio show. Its is a 30 minute audience participatory radio programme with the aim of informing, educating and entertaining the audience about the activities of government, multinational oil companies and Ibeno people.

The radio programme is the brain child of the special assistant on media and publicity to the Executive Chairman of Ibeno Local Government Council, Cmrd Victor Ibok, who is also the host.

Ulok Ulok On Radio, is proudly sponsored by Africa Diving Services Limited and Ibeno Local Government Council. However more sponsors are welcome.

The indigenous radio show has the following segments.

  2. Mbuk Mkpo Sitibe K’Ibono (News segment)
  3. Eno Mfon (Free Recharge Voucher segment)
  4. The handle (Short Drama segment)
  5. Nnemé Ekid Abasi (Live interview segment)
  6. Audience participatory segment.

The programme is broadcasted on Heritage Radio 104.9 FM every Saturday from 9:30am to 10:00am. It is also streamed live on Facebook, through the following addresses:
